1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”, or “your”) and HelloRun, operated by Henson Sagorsor – 4HProjects Inc (“HelloRun”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), regarding your access to and use of the website https://hellorun.online and all services associated with the platform.
By accessing or using HelloRun, creating an account, registering for events, or uploading content to the platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the platform immediately.
2. Description of the Platform
HelloRun is an online running platform designed to support runners, event organizers, and running communities.
The platform may provide services including:
- virtual running events
- on-site running events
- hybrid races
- event registration systems
- run tracking and submission of run results
- race rankings and leaderboards
- running group management
- blog publishing and community engagement
HelloRun may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or service at any time without prior notice.
3. User Accounts
To access certain features of the platform, users may be required to create an account.
Users agree that:
- all information provided during registration must be accurate and complete
- account credentials must be kept confidential
- users are responsible for all activities that occur under their account
Users must immediately notify HelloRun if they suspect unauthorized access to their account.
HelloRun reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Types of Users
HelloRun supports multiple types of platform users.
4.1 Runners / Participants
Runners may:
- register for events
- submit run entries
- upload proof of runs
- participate in rankings and leaderboards
- interact with community features
Runners must submit accurate information when recording runs and participating in events.
4.2 Event Organizers
Event organizers may create and manage running events on the platform.
Organizer responsibilities include:
- providing accurate event information
- managing event schedules
- communicating updates to participants
- verifying results when applicable
Organizers are responsible for their events and any communications sent to participants.
4.3 Running Group Moderators
Running group moderators may:
- manage group memberships
- organize group activities
- moderate discussions within the group
Moderators must ensure that group interactions follow platform guidelines.
4.4 Platform Administrators
HelloRun administrators manage platform operations including:
- account management
- system moderation
- fraud prevention
- enforcement of these Terms
Administrators may remove content or restrict accounts when necessary.
5. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities
Users must use the HelloRun platform responsibly and lawfully.
By using the platform, you agree not to:
- submit false or misleading information
- upload manipulated or fake run data
- impersonate another individual or organization
- interfere with the operation or security of the platform
- attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems
- upload malicious software or harmful code
- harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- post illegal, offensive, or harmful content
- spam other users or distribute unauthorized advertisements
HelloRun reserves the right to remove content, restrict features, or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
6. Virtual Run Verification and Fair Play
HelloRun promotes fair competition in both virtual and on-site running events.
Users submitting run results must ensure that:
- run entries are accurate
- screenshots or tracking records reflect actual runs
- performance data has not been altered or manipulated
HelloRun or event organizers may review submissions to verify authenticity.
If fraudulent activity is detected, HelloRun may take actions including:
- disqualification from the event
- removal from leaderboards
- cancellation of race results
- temporary account suspension
- permanent account termination
HelloRun reserves the right to make final determinations regarding run verification and event integrity.
7. User-Generated Content
HelloRun allows users to upload and share content including:
- run entry screenshots
- event images
- blog posts
- promotional materials
- payment proof images
By uploading content to the platform, you confirm that:
- you own the content or have the right to use it
- the content does not violate copyright or other laws
- the content does not infringe the rights of others
You grant HelloRun a non-exclusive license to store, display, and distribute the content for platform operations.
HelloRun may remove content that:
- violates these Terms
- is misleading or fraudulent
- contains illegal or harmful material
Uploaded files may be deleted if they are no longer necessary for operational purposes.
8. Event Registration and Payments
HelloRun provides tools that allow users to register for events and process payments through integrated payment providers.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment services such as:
- Stripe
- QRPH supported banking systems
- PayMongo
- Xendit
By completing a transaction on the platform, users agree that:
- payment information provided is accurate
- they are authorized to use the payment method
- transaction fees may apply depending on the payment provider
HelloRun may store transaction references or payment confirmations necessary to maintain financial records and resolve disputes.
Sensitive financial data is processed by the payment provider according to their own security and privacy policies.
9. Refunds and Event Cancellation
Event registrations processed through HelloRun may involve fees determined by the event organizer.
Refund policies may vary depending on the specific event.
Unless otherwise stated in the event description:
- registration fees are generally non-refundable
- refunds may be issued only if the event is cancelled by the organizer
- refund requests must follow the organizer’s stated policy
HelloRun serves as a platform connecting runners and organizers. The platform does not control or guarantee the refund policies of individual event organizers.
In the event of disputes related to event refunds, participants must first contact the event organizer responsible for the event.
10. Intellectual Property Rights
All content available on the HelloRun platform, including but not limited to:
- website design
- logos and trademarks
- platform features
- software code
- branding and graphics
- platform structure and functionality
are the property of HelloRun or its licensors.
Users may not:
- reproduce platform content
- distribute or sell platform materials
- modify platform features
- use the HelloRun brand without permission
Users retain ownership of content they upload to the platform but grant HelloRun permission to display and store that content for platform operations.
11. Limitation of Liability
HelloRun provides the platform and its services on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, HelloRun shall not be liable for:
- injuries sustained during participation in events
- inaccurate race results submitted by users
- disputes between event organizers and participants
- service interruptions or technical issues
- data loss beyond reasonable control
- third-party services integrated into the platform
Participation in running events involves physical risk. Users participate in events at their own discretion and responsibility.
12. Account Suspension and Termination
HelloRun reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts when necessary.
Accounts may be suspended or permanently banned for reasons including:
- violation of these Terms and Conditions
- submission of fraudulent run data
- abuse of other users
- misuse of the platform
- illegal activity or harmful behavior
HelloRun may remove content or restrict platform access without prior notice if necessary to protect users or maintain platform integrity.
Users may request deletion of their accounts by contacting the platform.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
Any disputes arising from the use of the HelloRun platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts in the Philippines.
14. Changes to These Terms
HelloRun may modify these Terms and Conditions at any time to reflect:
- changes in platform functionality
- updates to legal requirements
- improvements to services
When updates are made, the Last Updated date will be revised.
Continued use of the platform after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
